What you will find on Best Daily Tarot
Best Daily Tarot is a free tarot site built around one idea: a reading should be honest about what it is. Every spread here uses the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, the 78-card deck published in 1909 that most modern tarot is based on, and every card is interpreted in plain language rather than the vague, flattering phrasing that makes a reading impossible to disagree with.
There are ten readings, each built for a different kind of question. Some are quick, like the one-card Yes or No. Some are structured comparisons, like the decision spread. The Celtic Cross runs to ten cards and is meant to be lived with for a month. Alongside them sits a full meaning library covering all 78 cards, a daily tarot horoscope for each of the twelve star signs, and a birth card calculator that works out a lifelong card from your date of birth.
Nothing here is locked behind a payment and nothing requires an account. Signing up is optional and does one thing: it saves your readings to a private journal so you can look back at what you drew and what was going on at the time, which is where most of the value in tarot actually accumulates.

Is this site really free?
Yes. Every reading, every card meaning and every horoscope is free, with no trial period, no credits and no paid tier waiting behind them. There is no upsell to a live reader either. An optional free account exists purely so you can save readings to a journal.
Do I need to create an account to get a reading?
No. You can use any reading on the site without signing up or entering an email address. An account only adds the journal, which stores your past readings so you can revisit them later.
How are the cards chosen?
They are drawn using a random number generator, in the same way a physical shuffle is random. On the readings where you shuffle, cut and pick the cards yourself, your choices genuinely determine which cards come out. Certain readings then lock for a period, such as the daily cards until your local midnight, so the result cannot be reshuffled until you like it.
Do you use AI to write the readings?
The interpretations are composed with AI working from each card's established meaning, the position it landed in, and the question you asked, which is what lets a reading respond to your actual wording. If the AI is unavailable the site falls back to written interpretations for every card and position, so a reading is never left blank.
Is tarot able to predict the future?
We would not claim so, and this site is offered for entertainment and reflection. What a reading does well is give you a structured way to look at a situation and put words to something you may already sense. Nothing here is a substitute for medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and you should never make a serious decision on the strength of a card alone.
Which languages is the site available in?
Thirteen, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Hindi, Bengali, Thai, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese. The whole site is translated, not just the menus, so the readings themselves are written in the language you choose. Use the language switcher in the header to change it.
