Best Daily Tarot (“we”, “us”) operates bestdailytarot.com. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address, a display name (optional), and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google.

Saved readings. When you save a reading, we store that content linked to your account so you can return to it.

Reading questions. When you ask a question for a reading, we store the question text, the cards you drew, and your chosen language, linked to a random id saved on your device (and to your account if you are signed in). We keep this for up to 30 days so that asking the same question again — even reworded or in another language — shows you the same cards instead of a different answer each time. This data is removed automatically after 30 days.

Technical data. Like most websites, our servers and our CDN (Cloudflare) process basic request data such as your IP address for security and to keep the site running.

How we use information

We use your information to provide the service: to authenticate you, save your readings, send password-reset emails, and respond to messages you send us. We do not sell your personal information.

AI processing. To compose readings and to recognise when you are asking the same question again, the text of your question is sent to our AI provider (Google) for processing. Your question is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and an optional “remember me” cookie. We use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly alternative to CAPTCHA, to protect our forms from abuse.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which readings are most popular and which pages load slowly. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes technical data including your IP address and browser type. We use this only in aggregate and never to identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising

We may display advertising on this site, including ads served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before any non-essential advertising or analytics cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time.

We do not knowingly serve personalised advertising to children, and this site is not directed at children under 13.

Email

We send transactional emails only (for example, password resets). We do not send marketing emails.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your account page, which permanently removes your readings. You may also contact us to request deletion.
